This is one of the most picturesque bike paths in Vermont. It takes you from the edge of Newport to the Canadian border. Like other bike trails in Vermont it is a converted rail road track. It runs for almost 4 miles, cutting through some well-to-do homes and offering stunning views of Lake Memphremagog. There is even an unpublicized access to a secluded beach.

Watch for bikes left along the side of the trail, about a mile north of the starting point, which is the North Country hospital parking lot. Watch out for Snapping Turtles!
