September 17th, 2013…. after three or four days of rain the sun is out and the first general signs of color are appearing. These shots were taken near Seymour Lake in the northeast kingdom, an area of the Vermont close to the Canadian border. To appreciate the color you really have to wait for the sun to come out and for its light to play upon the leaves. The best time to view is early morning and mid afternoon to late afternoon. Don’t expect to see the best color at noon or on a cloudy day.
