Covered Bridges Half Marathon

Beginning at the Suicide Six Ski Area just south of nearby Woodstock, the Covered Bridges Half Marathon takes runners eastward on a point-to-point course through the open farmland along the Ottauquechee River toward the finish line at Quechee’s Polo Field.
Runners experience an overall elevation change of about 200 feet, as the race starts at 740 feet above sea level and gradually declines throughout the race toward the finish, including a mild hill around mile 5 and a steep hill around the 8-mile marker.
The 2013 running of the race was very hot for contestants. Temperatures were in the 90s
