This video was shot during September and October in more than a dozen locations throughout Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The video opens with a "walking through the leaves" section shot high up on the CC road at the southern end of Lake Willoughby. The road was built as a make work project during the Depression With all the economic mayhem going on, one can't help getting a sense of deja vu! The road offers one stunning view of the lake. You can see at least 30 miles and if it is clear, Mount Orford in Quebec.
One of the spots that few people visit during foliage season is "Brick Kingdom".
This is a park in Barton which contains the remains of an factory built out of red bricks. The crumbling masonary offers a contrast with the surrounding foliage. There is also a waterfall. We shot the Willoughby sailboat scene on a very ugly day, but somehow it is my favourite scene.
