The 17th Annual Covered Bridges Half Marathon was held on June 1st, 2008. About 1,700 runners entered this 13.1 mile marathon which is held in central Vermont. The race starts at the Suicide Six Ski Area in South Pomfret, just outside Woodstock, then runs through Woodstock and downstream beside the Ottauquechee River to the covered bridge at Taftsville and then on into Quechee.
